2023 Travel Applications are now open.
Travel teams practice and compete on weekends against other clubs in tournaments hosted by USAV, AAU, JVA and other clubs. These competitions are held around the country and are either single or multi-day on weekends. The travel season starts late November and runs thru end of May or June.
In 2022 Open Level Competition, Allegro 13-National finished 5th out of 59 teams. 15-National finished 10th out of 143 teams, 18-National finished 6th out of 64 teams. GO ALLEGRO!
Seldom does one find a team to be part of. But instead true teams manifest when individuals discover trust, teamwork, fairness, respect and unity. Allegro National Teams feature the top players in each age group. These are the most competitive and prestigious teams in each age group. Their schedule pits them against the toughest competition in their division and provides great exposure to college coaches. Numerous National Team players have gone on to earn full scholarships and play for NCAA Division I and II schools. National teams will play 5 to 6 overnight multi-day tournaments in addition to single day area events. National teams are expected to compete in the area GEVA power Leagues.
Area Travel Teams are also high level teams in each age group however will only travel in NJ to compete and in 2021 will have one overnight multi-day competition. Area teams will play single day area events in the area plus the Garden State Grand Prix (Denville, NJ) and the Jersey Shore Joust (Wildwood NJ)

Allegro's new recruiting platform (AtoC) to assist our athletes and parents navigate the recruiting process and play volleyball at the collegiate level. AtoC is an acronym for Allegro to College. The platform consists of tools developed by Allegro and partner companies to assist in every aspect of college recruiting. This recruiting platform is included with your national team.
Video Analytics uses video and data analysis to review player skills, detect vulnerabilities, optimize performance, Analytics provide visual feedback and data to help decide what to focus on, to develop technical and tactical strategies to improve performance and reduce injuries. Next season (2021) all travel teams will use video analysis tools.
Optional High Performance Training (HPT) Raise your game to the next level with Allegro's High Performance Training. Individualized training based on personal goals and position-specific demands. High Performance Training compliments team practices with additional performance conditioning, video analysis, position specific training and individual development plans.
Showcase Teams compete in select high profile events and provide Allegro athletes additional opportunities to showcase for college coaches and scouts. Showcase events are chosen based on recruiting needs and teams are open to all Allegro players both local and travel. Allegro introduces advanced statistics in player development. In addition to traditional volleyball stats, we have created some new metrics that our coaches and players can use to develop and improve a player's skill sets and ultimately to optimize performance and results. Our new stats also support positive coaching methods especially in developing younger players.
A positive approach gets the most from youth and high school athletes, which is what coaches, parents and the athletes themselves want. Staying positive also helps youth get the most out of sports.
Allegro Together is a team building program that provides opportunities that will help kids learn better communications skills and create friendships. Allegro Together includes a big sister program, open gym groups, community service programs, carpool assistance and other activities that bring players and families together. (Fall 2020)
Sports accident coverage is provided for properly registered players who are injured during practice or games. Coverage is excess medical and becomes primary only if there is no other coverage. (2021)
Program fee insurance policy covers up to 100% of the program fees for an athlete who suffers a season ending injury no matter WHERE, WHEN or HOW the injury occurs. (at home, on vacation, while playing another sport, etc.). Policy thru Player Fee Warranty included with travel program. (2021)
